Luke — Physician, historian, and faithful missionary companion of Paul
The whole Gospel for the whole world.
Biblical theology of mission, intercultural communication, pioneer church planting, world religions, and the spiritual resilience long-term missionary life demands.
Luke was a man of remarkable distinction: a physician, a historian, a Gentile, and one of the most faithful missionary companions in the entire New Testament. He travelled with the Apostle Paul across treacherous seas, through hostile cities, and into unknown cultural territories, never abandoning the mission even when others did. His two masterful writings, the Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles, together form the most comprehensive account of the life of Christ and the global advance of the early church ever recorded.
Luke did not simply observe missions; he lived it, documented it, and gave the global church a theological framework for understanding GOD’s unstoppable redemptive purpose for every nation. It is in his spirit that this school is named.
This school is designed for believers who carry a GOD-given burden for the nations, those who are called to take the Gospel beyond the borders of their culture, language, and comfort zone into the unreached and underserved peoples of the earth. Like Luke, who brought both professional excellence and deep spiritual commitment to his missionary calling, participants are formed to carry the whole Gospel to the whole world with both intellectual rigor and Spirit-led passion.
Participants are trained in the biblical theology of mission, the history of the global missionary movement, world religions and worldviews, intercultural communication, language and culture acquisition, pioneer church planting, community development, and the intersection of justice and Gospel proclamation. They are also formed in the spiritual resilience, cross-cultural humility, and sacrificial endurance that long-term missionary life demands, qualities that Luke himself modeled across decades of faithful service alongside Paul.
The goal is to send out GOD-commissioned, culturally intelligent, and spiritually grounded missionaries who carry the light of the Gospel to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people, until the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of GOD as the waters cover the sea.
Who it's for: Believers carrying a GOD-given burden for the unreached and underserved peoples of the earth.
